Breast Augmentation
As the body ages, most women experience a breast volume loss, particularly after giving birth. Other women may not have much volume to begin with or simply want larger or more evenly sized breasts. Either way, not every woman is willing to undergo surgery, breast scarring, and the placement of foreign objects in the body just to rectify the situation.

This is where natural breast augmentation comes into play. Since breast tissue is comprised mainly of fat, the idea is to take excess body fat from one part of the body (e.g., stomach, thighs, hips) and place it where it is desired – i.e., the breasts.
However, conventional lipofilling (fat transplantation) solutions for breast augmentation, albeit generally safe procedures, result in unreliable outcomes, require multiple treatments under general anaesthesia to reach satisfactory results, and often never fulfil the patient’s desires. This approach also may not be a realistic solution for many patients (e.g., thin women with just enough excess body fat for one procedure).
The Stemform procedures provide surgeons with the most versatile filler solution, which is natural because it is composed of the patient’s own tissue and cells, and also create reliable and permanent results after just one treatment.
In this way, a patient can comfortably return to their lives knowing they are getting a reliable and natural solution the first time without worrying about unpredictable outcomes or complications associated with breast implants that are temporary in nature.
Breast augmentation process
Patients receive minor liposuction on day 0 under local anaesthesia at one of our certified customer’s clinics or hospitals. The patient’s lipoaspirate is then transported to the closest Stemform laboratory (clean room) for further processing. Depending on the size of the breasts and age of the patient, expanded cells are harvested between days 14 and 28 and then transported back to the agreed surgical facility, where the actual procedure is performed in line with the patient/doctor agreement.
Breast augmentation outcomes
Natural breast augmentation with the Stemform method is very reliable. If a patient and doctor have agreed on a 200-ml (200-cc) increase in breast size, a patient can expect to achieve such results within an acceptable range, depending on the amount of fat tissue available for transplantation, and the pre-operative breast size. Approximately six weeks after the breast augmentation, the breast volume stabilizes with the body’s metabolism, and a permanent result is achieved subject to maintaining a stable weight. The outcomes are beautiful and natural with no need for surgical removal, which implants require.

Patient safety
To ensure a safe procedure, your doctor will talk to you about your medical history to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for Stemform treatments.
You should not receive a Stemform treatment if:
You have history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) to any of the products used (e.g., the anaesthetic substances or antibiotics)
You have a history of eating disorders
You are prone to bleeding or have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You have an active cancer disease
Tell your doctor if you are on any medications that decrease your body’s immune response (immunosuppressive therapy).
Tell your doctor if you are using any “blood thinners,” or any other medications that affect bleeding.
The liposuction procedure is the most invasive part of the Stemform treatments and can cause mild bleeding, bruising, and altered skin colour for a short period of time. Other commonly observed side effects are mild in severity and include redness and swelling at the injection site, headache, and short-term tenderness. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection. You will be required to wear compression garments for six weeks postoperatively. You will receive detailed oral and written information about the procedure, including possible side effects and the expected postoperative process.
The Stemform treatments are available only through a Stemform licensed and certified practitioner.
